Almadina Woodstone Oven & Grill

Almadina is our usual date night dinner spot. The food is incredible and always fresh. The rice is amazing, hummus is outstanding... I cannot say enough about how much we love this restaurant. The owner is a lovely woman, she came to our table the other night to chat and had such an inspiring story. Five star recommendation for this spot, never fails to impress. Check them out!!

Have gone for both a take out lunch and sit down dinner. Staff is very friendly and food is great with reasonable prices. The pitas are made in house and the spicy garlic sauce they bring for a dip pretty delicious. Had a chicken schwarma and the lamp skewer platter, and would have both again.Conveniently down the street from where I am visiting for work, so will be a regular visitor.

Just came back from a family occasion at this restaurant.5 stars everything, food, service and friendly staff.I highly recommend this place if somone is looking for a good place to eat quality food at a reasonable price.

Felt real calm and peacefulness at this restaurant setting, the place is clean and offers tasty Mediterranean Cuisine menu, that won't break your budget, I would dine there again, enjoy!

The great thing, is the staff are truly wonderful. Aside from that, the food is extremely bland, the rice is doused in butter. I ordered lamb, which was very tough and tasted like sheep, but lamb. The fatoush salad was however OVER spiced. The salad was soggy. There was a massive absence of any authentic flavors, which is why we chose to try this place out. If they could put some true authentic flavors into their food, and serve more fresh produce, it would be amazing.

Excellent restaurant! Good food and service. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes.

Amazing food!! Ive been to many many middle eastern resteraunt from Toronto to Hamilton and this place just tops it all!! Thier Egyptian rice is so buttery and delicious the chicken skewers are super flavourful and tender. They serve you fresh flat bread and garlic dip to start off. amazing food!!

Almadina re-opens for takeout/delivery despite COVID19. Despite missing a few items (the stuffed grape leaves and home-made lemonade) on the menu, the restaurant is still making delicious food. Succulent Lamb Skewers, fresh pita (all puffed up from the wood oven), fresh tabbouleh, etc. While I can't wait to actually go there and sit down for a meal, this is a very good second-best. Thank you Almadina for re-opening despite COVID 19.

Had a lovely dinner here. Service was classic, fresh pita bread, lamb was incredible and I had the schwarma. Owner checked on us and was sweet. Brought my parents next time and they really enjoyed the thoughtful service and they really enjoyed trying something new in a comfortable atmosphere. Wish more restaurants were like this these days.

Very tasty food and friendly stuff

An AWESOME place to eat!!! I've been there twice and I've really enjoyed their food. Their Chicken Shawarma plate with some Pita Breads is a must try. Highly recommended.

We miss the babaganoush a lot but always excellent food. Puffy pitas to start are amazing.

Stopped in on an impulse as I was passing by. It was a good decision. The beef shiskabob was delicious. I loved everything on my plate. The beef was tender and flavourful. I could eat two servings of the rice alone. The wait staff was efficient and seemed to really care whether or not you were enjoying your meal.

I liked the pita bread a lot, amazing even. Rest of the meal was a pretty poor value. $20 for a chicken kabob dinner the size of a small dinner plate. Added a mango drink and my dinner for 1 was suddenly almost 35 dollars after a tiny tip. Yikes

Food was great, Kim was attentive and friendly giving great service. Everything from the wood fired smell to the amazing marinade meats were fantastic. Facilities and decor top notch. Easy parking as well!

I don't have just to give this restaurant 10 stars, not only 5. Yesterday I held a family special event in AL MADINA restaurant. Everything was perfect, service, food, friendly staff, and the most important thing is cleanliness. I recommend this wonderful restaurant to the special events, I'm sure you will get what you are looking for.

Awesome place for the halal food. The pita breads and the hummus were very good, specially the garlic one. We took the jumbo platters that could serve almost 7-8 people. The only thing I would say that within the platter the beef shish kebabs were a little overcooked which made it kinda hard to get the meat out of the wooden sticks. The ones with the ground beef were the best. A must visit place for all the halal food lovers.

Good food, awesome service, great atmosphere. I had an app plate while my hubby had a meal. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food and we happy with how knowledgeable the staff were about gluten and cross contamination. Been before and will visit again.

Amazing place to try Middle Eastern food also they have wood-stone oven Arabian style pizza options which are worth trying. For pizza, they use different kind of cheese- Akawi, which is so mouthwatering, should definitely give it a try. Also, they are pretty known for their big-size family platters which are grilled on charcoal BBQ but no vegetarian options in that section.

Almadina is a fantastic restaurant. It is family owned and operated and has a very wide ranging menu. Service is prompt and professional. We love the done oven pitas.My favorite is their chicken shawarma plate. Love Almadina!
